Before 2012 ends

Amazing. It has been over 5 months since my last post. This semester proved to be one of my toughest yet, and it's ONLY my second last semester. Which means next year (my last semester), I am going to die. Teehee oh how fun.

My summer hols have already started almost a month ago and I've procrastinated this much needed update for as long as I could. Now that it's the last day of 2012, I finally moved my lazy ass to start on this post. 2012 has been a bittersweet year for me. More bitter than sweet, actually. A 9:1 ratio. Okay fine, I'll admit it was a pretty bad year for me lol. Doing my best to highlight my ups more than my downs so I won't feel so miserable about it.

Anyways, here are some stuff worth mentioning since my last update, just a quick recap on the latter half of the year. (pictureful!)

15.7.2012

Went for a day trip to the beach with the gang. A lot of walking involved and we had to take a shuttle because it was the 3rd day of rainfest, if I'm not mistaken.

There's nothing like a day of sand, sea and loved ones running and swimming like mad :)

Swam, built sandcastles, wrote our names in the sand, played volleyball, and stuffed outselves with junkfood till sunset and then we took loads of awesome sunset pics!

And then there's me doing a headstand!! :D And I thought I couldn't do it anymore, phew!

I turned 21! :D

Thanks to Abigail, Ah Sem and Leen who brought me out to dinner at Sharing Planet ♥

Even had special treatment! Sem helped cut my chicken into bite sizes for me! Until I found out he did that because they know I eat very slow -____- lol

And thanks to Amanda and Jess who brought me out to lunch at Koreana and surprised me with the rest showing up ♥ ♥

This is the third year this happened and I really must thank Jess for it :) Loveeee!!!

And then there was dinner with the fam on another night + meowy at Ten Ichi. Here are some food porn to make you salivate for a while ;)

After dinner we went for karaoke (my first time, mind you) at k11 at the hills. Embarrassing memories made that night, which I will not share here. Only those present that night know what really happened lol.

I had the experience of tagging along to my brother and Michelle's pre-wedding photoshoot. Best location ever: MY grandparents' house. Quite an eye-opener for me to see how these things worked. The photographer was kind enough to let me bring my camera and take some pictures on my own for the sake of practice :D

During the mid-autumn solstice festival I released a floating lantern for the first time in my life *sakai*

With the rest of my relatives. It was so fun to write our wishes on the lanterns and light them up and let them float off!

I attended my cousin's wedding where I had a rather unusual experience....

A lot of congratulations in this post aye lol. 2012 was something for me to remember, but not something I'd want to celebrate in the future. I'm really thankful for those who were there for me and helped me get through it. But that's all I can post for now. Will update on December soon. Now I gotta go get ready to welcome the new year!

Hello, Happy New Year!! :D I know this post is long due and I wanted to do a 2010 recap but didn't really have the time yet. Maybe soon, if you guys don't mind? Lol. Had dinner with the family at Cafe Majestic. Was a really last minute plan since we didn't have anywhere else to go for NYE x__x so sad right. Haha. Anyways, FOOD PHOTO FLOOD :DD

These two were a sort of experiment, I think?? Weirdest sushi I've ever tasted. That's lamb meat in it!! Not such a good idea...:/

Sashimi galore! Damn I miss it already.

That's maguro/tuna rolls.....That red sauce on the plate killed me. I think it was tabasco sauce :( buuuuuuuuurn!

And NO I didn't eat all those cakes. Wish I could though. Just took a bite out of each to taste all of them :3 And I must say that the slice on the small saucer was the best omg *drools*

Spent a good two hours there stuffing ourselves silly. Then headed over to Sarawak Club to meet some cousins in hopes of crashing their countdown at the karaoke lounge like last year. But there wasn't any countdown going on there. Or even dancing. Sad. Only some people singing "♪♫Can you paint with all the colours of the wind........" on karaoke. T___T

Then dad wanted to go home....but I didn't want to go home before midnight so he dropped me at Woodlands with my siblings. HAAAA Danced like hell there. Had fun indeed.

Yes, I'm still alive. Possibly for the millionth time, I apologize for the, what, two month disappearance? It really sucks living without a pc. :( And I still hate my blog skin. It's been almost 6 months since my pc died. And I'm hoping that I can get it fixed asap. Since I just need a new graphic card. I'll be starting my degree next month! So I'll definitely be needing a computer or else I'm fried.

Anyways, these few months have been pretty uneventful. With a little bit of this and that and birthdays here and there....including my own. :)

And of ALL the days, I couldn't drive my car out on my birthday because the road tax expired. But I have awesome friends who picked me up and brought me out. ♥ For the first time in a long time I didn't have to drive to get around. :D I got fattened up that day though, cuz I got treated to two meals back to back and I got to bring home two cakes. The cake above is one of them. I can say that I'm truly blessed to have friends that I love and love me (I hope, lol). You guys know who you are. Thank you so much. I loooove you. You're my gifts from God. :)

What else...? My babe in Adelaide came back for a two week holiday! But now she's back there again and we all miss her. Well I'm kinda lazy to write a full update since it's like almost 2am now. Give me time to get my pc fixed then I will write more elaborately about everything that's been happening. Pinky promise. :)

Oh and before I forget, I've been getting a lot of weird dreams. But they're the happy kind. They keep me happy when I'm awake. Weird. But nice. :)))) God's trying to tell me something and I hope it's something good. Yes, if you've read my tweets, I'm gonna do my best to be optimistic despite my pessimistic nature from now on. ♥

Ookay, this is bad. My last post was over a month ago. Ouch. Sorreh, ya'll. My computer has been down for quite a while. I mean, it's still usable, but it just can't access the internet. Boohoo it sucks. CNY was over pretty fast. Had fun. But I have to say, this CNY wasn't as fun as all the ones before this. D:

And if you're wondering how I'm online now, I'm in this little shop. The Daily Moo. Using one of their computers. It's actually this really cute grocery shop cum cafe cum cyber cafe. 2 shops down from my mum's office? So super convenient while I'm waiting for dad to pick me up later.

This is a sucky post cuz i'm actually blogging from my phone. Didn't know I can upload pictures into blogposts here. But can't edit very well.

Gosh, there's a lot of stuff I wanted to post before 2010. Like my wishlist and things I did in 2009. *sob* I actually came home early from uni today so I could write about them but of all the days to break down, my internet choose to do so today. When I had a few hours free which I intended to use for blogging. Fml. Even both my Left4dead[s] aren't working! Sigh. Will update as soon as I my internet is up again.

I went to get my results todayyyy. And it was something pretty unexpected. Teehee. What I expected to get was a couple of Ps and Cs. What I got was a couple of HDs, a D and a P.

At least I got one guess right. Bloody Innovation and Change. HAHA Engineering students its coming right at 'cha!

I'm really glad though. Thank God. :D It could've been worse.

After all, I've been having so much fun last sem, who knew such a slacker could get these results. Wouldn't be surprised if they got the results mixed up, but I hope they didn't. Sorry if I seem like I'm bragging, but I'm just really relieved. :3

By the way, I finally got to try the strawberry-flavored Moo ice cream today.
You know, the ones that are usually chocolate and milk flavored? That looks like
cow skin? @___@

It sucks. Omg so disgusting can? I love strawberry-flavored stuff, but this ice-cream. Just. Disappointed. Me. The chocolate one stays my fav. But I gotta lay off or I'm gonna be inflating like a fucking ballooncuz its so darn fattening.
Sighhhh.

Oh, and I was eating my dinner at Swk Club earlier on, and I noticed there were like, a lot of these teenagers dressed formally. Most prolly some student function going on at the Hornbill Restaurant? And I sat there and chewed and thought and thought...and thought.

And then I remembered that Geraldine told me that the GRSS prefects were having their annual dinner tonight. I saw Pn Mary Kiu dressed in pink!! So cute. So I went to search for Ant. And found him practicing his performance with Dunstan and this-very-talented-popper-dude-whom-I-have-no-idea-what-his-name-was in the studio.

So basically all I did the whole time was lean back and watch them practice(and recorded some awesome shit but I don't think I can upload it without permission) and catch up with Ant on what has been happening in school since I left. Gosh I miss it.
