Hello. :)

The purpose of this post is to make you salivate to death. Yes, it's all about food. My brother, Michelle and I went to dinner on Wednesday night. Japanese buffet @ Cafe Majestic, Crown Plaza! T'was a night that I stuffed myself to oblivion because I know I won't be going there again anytime soon since the price has increased quite significantly. They had a huge renovation recently so I guess that's why the price went up. Sigh. Anyways, let the torturing pics begin! >D










It's not a lot, but they all look tantalizing enough. ;) I'm getting hungry myself, writing this post. Have you died from salivating yet? I hope so. Hee.
Oh and I changed my blog skin! ...again. I guess I'm too fickle to stay with one skin till the end. I have yet to find "the one" for my blog. Lol. It's THAT significant. Because if I don't like my skin, I won't have the motivation to write. :( I already have a feeling I'm gonna get sick of this skin very soon. Sad. Ah wells. That's all you'll be hearing from me today.

Ohai.

Yes, I'm still alive. Possibly for the millionth time, I apologize for the, what, two month disappearance? It really sucks living without a pc. :( And I still hate my blog skin. It's been almost 6 months since my pc died. And I'm hoping that I can get it fixed asap. Since I just need a new graphic card. I'll be starting my degree next month! So I'll definitely be needing a computer or else I'm fried.

Anyways, these few months have been pretty uneventful. With a little bit of this and that and birthdays here and there....including my own. :)

And of ALL the days, I couldn't drive my car out on my birthday because the road tax expired. But I have awesome friends who picked me up and brought me out. ♥ For the first time in a long time I didn't have to drive to get around. :D I got fattened up that day though, cuz I got treated to two meals back to back and I got to bring home two cakes. The cake above is one of them. I can say that I'm truly blessed to have friends that I love and love me (I hope, lol). You guys know who you are. Thank you so much. I loooove you. You're my gifts from God. :)

What else...? My babe in Adelaide came back for a two week holiday! But now she's back there again and we all miss her. Well I'm kinda lazy to write a full update since it's like almost 2am now. Give me time to get my pc fixed then I will write more elaborately about everything that's been happening. Pinky promise. :)

Oh and before I forget, I've been getting a lot of weird dreams. But they're the happy kind. They keep me happy when I'm awake. Weird. But nice. :)))) God's trying to tell me something and I hope it's something good. Yes, if you've read my tweets, I'm gonna do my best to be optimistic despite my pessimistic nature from now on. ♥

I shall finally blog! After like, a month and a half of not blogging?? I blame it solely on bubbletown. I don't know why I seem to be the only person who finds it crazily addictive. It makes me procrastinate! It's so unhealthy. But still Imma recommend it to ya'll.

Anyways, yeah, a lot's been going on. Will write up on that soon. Now I'm writing on borrowed time (is that the correct term?). As in its a rare night when my mum forgets to keep her laptop so I'm using it while she's asleep in her room already.

Changed my layout again :D Got sick of the previous layout and felt that white appealed to me again. Very annoyed with the colour of my post title though. Can't change it because its a link. Roar.

Yes I know my blog has become rather neglected. My excuse? My computer has been super shitty. One minute it's having problem connecting to the Internet, and the next thing I know, there's something wrong with the graphic card(assumed).So I haven't used the computer in weeks! Been relying on my phone to tweet, check my mail and facebook. That, and nothing else so it's been driving me f*ckin nuts.

Well since my sem has started, I'll be using the computers in the lab to do my Internet shit since my brother is being quite the pain refusing to help me with the computer. Ugh.

Anyhoo, I recently did this make over thing at tHe Spring for a Shiseido promotion. Since my sister's friend is working with them she called me up to ask me if I would join. RM200, for one printed picture, and 180 redeemable coupon for Shiseido products. Not very cheap when they charge you and extra RM350 for the friggin' soft copies of the pics you took. Shit! RM350 for 33 pictures in a cd, damn it.

And NO PEOPLE. I am not modelling. If I were then I won't have to pay for it won't I? They'd be paying me instead. *wishful thinking*

The weather in Kuching is as shitty as ever. Rain every night and almost everyday. Well since I need to get home before the bloody rush hour jam begins, I shall be bidding you all good bye now.

And this is it's contents. A very simple hot dog.

It costs RM6.90. Inclusive of a drink, I'm not so sure.

If people are willing to pay RM6.90 for a hot dog this simple, then they'd love Swinburne Mannazone hot dogs. :P

Not only is it better (has cheese-filled sausages; the one above doesn't), but its so much cheaper. Well, it used to be RM2.50 each but they very greedy when they realised how students like it so now its RM3.00 ==

RM4.00 if inclusive of a can drink.

Ookay, this is bad. My last post was over a month ago. Ouch. Sorreh, ya'll. My computer has been down for quite a while. I mean, it's still usable, but it just can't access the internet. Boohoo it sucks. CNY was over pretty fast. Had fun. But I have to say, this CNY wasn't as fun as all the ones before this. D:

And if you're wondering how I'm online now, I'm in this little shop. The Daily Moo. Using one of their computers. It's actually this really cute grocery shop cum cafe cum cyber cafe. 2 shops down from my mum's office? So super convenient while I'm waiting for dad to pick me up later.

Apologies for the lack of entries! I've just finished my finals for my summer semester. So right now I'll be enjoying that long-awaited holiday. ♥!!

Last night mum was making me try on the clothes and stuff that she bought on her Macau/Hong Kong/China trip. And she bought this really cute clip-on hat for me. And she and my aunt bought this clip-on wig. She demonstrated how it worked on me and I clipped on my hat. And added some lipstick for fun. I loved the look okay. Like some vintage gothic look. And I took a few pictures and uploaded them to Facebook, like so.

Lol. If I can, that is. I love love love the atmosphere there! Like, you can walk to work or take a train. While listening to music on your phone/iPod in peace. Awesomeness. Here it's like, it ain't safe to walk around with headphones cuz you might not hear some dude approaching you to snatch your stuff or stab you or something.

The only thing I don't like is that we can't eat gum there. I'm already addicted to chewing gum. Like there's always this bottle of Wrigley's gum in my car. T_________T

Aiyah cuz you people have REAL trees ba!

My mum says its best to go back end of next year when the resort at Sentosa is finally open! :D

Okay so finally I'm gonna write about my Singapore trip. Am gonna do it all with my phone. Cuz I simply cannot wait for my desktop to be fixed. Its not really broken or anything. Its just that I can't seem to access the internet even if it says I'm connected. ==

Anyways, here's Singapore! :D



Well, technically not Singapore yet, but my obligatory picture of airplane food. xD



Took a shuttle from the airport to our hotel, Ibis, on Bencoolen Link. I like the shuttle. Its sooo spacious. And since there were like, 10 seats and only 5 passengers, I kept changing seats so that I could take pictures of stuff on both sides of the shuttle. xD



Saw the Singapore Flyer! Didn't
get to ride it though. T.T

EDIT: Just found out that this is Esplanade. Shit I passed Esplanade and didn't get to take any pictures with the Merlion(they're near) fml

Some pretteh decorations in the streets. Went to check in at the hotel and dump our stuff in the room before going out again to explore the Bugis Street. Just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Had my first meal in Singapore! For some reason I think the char siew(pork) here tastes AWESOME. Had a whiff of some men eating this and knew that I just had to have some! Om nom nomz! Did some shopping and I decided that shopping in Bugis Street is awesome cuz almost everything is affordable!

Very cute and tiny fridge in the hotel room. But it was too small! Can't even fit a mineral water bottle in there. -____- Had to change hotels the next day though, cuz mum thinks Ibis was too expensive and she'd rather spend the money on shopping.

Last pic before we checked out. HAHA. I know, we'reI'm messy as hell. I have to admit that I contributed the most to the mess here. So we moved to this cheaper family hotel on Orchard Road.

To be honest, I hated it. Mum thinks Ibis rooms are tiny compared to this hotel. What I hated the most was that I needed to pay for using the fucking WiFi. Like, hello? We're paying to use all your facilities already and you still wanna charge us for using your Internet? $5 for an hour, $15 for 3 hours, and $30 for 24 hours. No fucking way was I going to pay that much for WiFi. That explains my inactiveness on facebook for the next few days.

Ahem.

After checking in and dumping our stuff unceremoniously in our room again we went out to check out the famous Orchard Road.

Rested in the room for like, half an hour? Then went out again to Orchard Road to wait for sundown.

After that we took a cab from one end of Orchard Road to Suntec City. Nothing much there. just the usual shops. Bought myself a new wallet there though. :D My old one was hideously peeling. T__T

As much as I dislike the pattern on the outside, I like the inside. So many compartments and its not bulky! ♥

And there were these two saleswomen from Israel selling some dead sea products. Vardi & Migdal. They demonstrated their nail buffer on my nails first (which was super awesome btw) then they noticed how dry my skin was and started putting all kinds of stuff on me. Seems they cannot stand seeing my skin condition and were really desperate to make my mum buy their products. Super expensive though. Few hundred SGD? :/ Mum kept refusing so they started adding on some free stuff. And mum was refusing until they offered $200 for these two things, and then a wholeee lot of other stuff worth around $200 also free.

These two jars cost $200!



And we got this much stuff free! :3

So in the end we got this much for $200.



Quite reasonable now that you think about it. :P
I wanted to ask them to come sell it in Msia but I remembered that we don't have any diplomatic connections with them. T____T

Next day we decided to try taking the train. Wanted to visit Harbour Front so I can take pictures of the Merlion but mum wanted to shop instead. Can you believe that? I went to Singapore and came back without taking any pictures with THE Merlion?!

Sigh.

Sooo. We took the train to Vivo City. And mum wanted to take pictures ==

Then there was Tang's at Vivo City too. And I found the shoes that I fell in love with. And they have my size!!!!! ♥

Went to the terminal and found out our flight was delayed for like, two hours. Feh. So we went to bookshops to hunt for stuff to read so we won't die of boredom.

Lookie what we have here! The book that was banned from Malaysia for reasons I cannot recall. I remember my physics tuition teacher, Mr Lee, telling us about this book. And he even photocopied all the gruesome pictures and showed everyone. Hmmm.

No, I didn't get it. I got a word puzzle book instead.



Yehhh. So sad to say buh-bye to Singapore.
