The big 2-0.

Temporary freedom!!! Just handed in two of my assignments this week. Now for an assignment-free weekend, until we get the new briefs on Monday. It's been a crazy hectic week for me. Assignment deadlines and birthdays. My birthday, to be specific. Teehee.

Me being vain because I rarely wear make up and take selcas anyway :)

Celebrated in advance with the family first on Sunday night at The Carvery. That place is seriously amazing. More than 9 types of meat served buffet style AND served to our table!! Didn't get to take a lot of pictures cuz we were all so busy stuffing ourselves. Talk about fat farm.

Only managed to take a few pics before leaving though. Me and mumsy. Finally wore my new floral skirt!! :D Though my bag was blocking it in this pic -.-

Oh and dad got me a netbook that day too. Which is what I'm using right now. Outside. Oh the convenience of it all! ♥ It's secondhand but still in pretty good condition. Just the battery's a little weird. Am gonna use it for personal stuff and internet surfing only since it can't accommodate my Adobe programs. And the desktop shall be used for mostly work stuff~

Anyway, on Wednesday, which was the actual day, Jess(who booked me for lunch a month in advance wth) picked me up for lunch right after my class ended. Went to Millions with me thinking that it was just gonna be the two of us like on her birthday. Little did I know there were gonna be surprise guests who *ahem* told me they were busy and couldn't make it. But thanks for showing up and surprising me. I had a gooood time :)))

Geek with the awesome shirt.

Yes. I am the geeky girl with a Big Bang shirt. *sakai* On my last trip to KL I went to KLCC and saw this shop called UNIQLO. And then I tried to remember why it sounded so familiar. Because they have Big Bang shirts! So I went and got one. It wasn't one of the best designs, but it was the last size S left. The rest were way too big for me. So it was that or nothing. Quite happy with it though :)))

And Lol this pic looks so different compared to the pic I posted before this. I guess glasses, messy hair and lighting makes a huge difference. Previous pic of the skirt was taken during the day with the window open, which explains why I look so fair there. xO

Anyway, had a Mackers lunch with Abi and Leen the other day. Such a guilty pleasure, I'm so glad I can't afford to eat it so often. Or else I'd be happily obese right now. *shivers* Talked about a lot of dark stuff that day. I wonder why I find these topics so interesting.... I get the creeps, but I still like to talk about them in detail. -.- e.g. Superstitions on sleep paralysis and not picking up stray umbrellas cuz they're "unclean". Yikes.

But let's not talk about that now at 1:25 in the morning. Let me show you a funny picture.

I don't know if you guys find it funny, but I think it's kinda amusing in a cute way. How these dogs can be so fascinated by a pile of soil on the road. Saw this outside my sister's house today. If I'm not mistaken the white one spent a few hours just lying on top of the pile. Bet he felt like King of the mountain. LOL.

It's 1:35am and I'm stuck with assignments and feeling shitty. And all I can think of is what I'd just love to do or where to be right now.

• I want to go to the beach.
• I want to stuff myself silly with takoyaki.
• I've been wanting that delish ham and vege sandwich from Delizze for quite a while now.
• I forking miss Universal Studios in Singapore.
• Actually I just miss Singapore in general -.-
• I haven't been to the Japanese buffet at Crowne Plaza for quite a while now (since New Year's) and I miss the unlimited sashimi supply like mad.
• I want an iPhone a data plan for my phone that won't suck up my credit like crazy.
• I want a wlan usb adapter. Still using a netbook and desktop at the same time to do my work wtf damn frustrating lo.
• I WANT MORE TIME TO COMPLETE MY ASSIGNMENTS!!! PLEASEANDTHANKYOU

Just a random midnight rant. Getting hungry now. Shall go hunt for some milk or something before turning in. I'll prolly do a proper update tomorrow. Nights, everyone :O

Day two of my winter sem and I'm almost ready to drop dead.

I already have a presentation tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. And 2 assignments due in another 15 days. One assignment is to design and code a Game and Watch game from scratch using Adobe Flash and Dreamweaver, and another assignment is to create a typography animation using Adobe After Effects. I'm not even that familiar with After Effects omg. T__T

On a lighter note, I bought a pretty new skirt from my cousin's shop over the weekend. Decided to try it on yesterday. Hmmm. I think I like it :))

And yes, as usual, my room is a horrible mess, but let's not delve further into that, shall we? And yes, I stick post-its on my mirrors as reminders. My memory has been getting pretty ridiculous lately.

Anyway, what do you think of the skirt? :D My sister won't let me wear it to school cuz she thinks it's too short though. So I don't think it will be seeing the sun anytime soon. -.-

Smoky Sexy Eyes :D

I'm on a roll! xD Just a short post today too, wanna show you guys something. Been meddling with make up lately, and I'm very fascinated with how people can make their eyes look so fierce and pretty just by blending the right colours. Especially like in Michelle Phan's make up tutorials.

Was looking at the make up at Watson's the other day, since they were having some sale. And I saw these eyeshadow palettes from Revlon, and THE COLOURS ARE SO PRETTY!!! Apparently it's called the Revlon CustomEyes Shadow and Liner.

I like the Naturally Glamorous (upper right) and the Smoky Sexy (bottom left) colours! I'm contemplating getting the Smoky Sexy palette but it's RM33. I'm not a make up pro and I don't usually splurge that much on the make up.....but I'm thinking of making an exception and buying it. Should I? Or should I forget it? :S Is it overpriced? Come to think of it, it was originally RM40++ before discount.

Should I get it?! T_______T

What is this?!

My gosh. An update after 6 long months of silence. I'm sooo sorry for neglecting my dear blog. :S I've been planning to blog for so long but I couldn't help but procrastinate and delay the task despite how dead bored I was during the holidays. I guess assignments aren't the only things that a student can procrastinate about.

Anyway, I've recently just recovered from a rather severe bout of acute tonsillitis. Severe because I've had tonsillitis before, but I've never had it this bad. I'd show you guys a picture, but it's really gross and prolly make me lose readers. Eheh.

With only one day left until my winter semester classes commence, I was just reading other people's blogs and thinking how diligent they are, updating their blogs every few days and how pathetic I am, wasting a whole month of holidays without even updating once.

Well, it's finally the end of my holidays and I've finally summed up enough willpower to actually blog. I keep wanting to do looong updates with shitloads of pictures, but then I realised these long posts don't come easy -.- So I'm just gonna start off slow with teeny basic updates for now :)

Like my nails? Just did them yesterday. MYSELF. *proud* I procrastinated a whole week before doing them though. I'm so horrible. Lol. Then I realised that it is a good thing too, cuz then when classes start they'll still look fresh and unchipped. *joy* Oh, and it's not black, its a dark metallic blue. And yes, my fingers are peeling like maaaaddd because I played my guitar a little bit during the hols. Guess the poor thing is back to gathering dust now that I'm gonna have classes.

I can't say that I regret my hols though it was kinda shitty. Stayed home every single day, hardly getting to see my friends. Only going out 5 times within those 6 weeks. Getting so sick at the end. But at least I got to meet some of my friends. Better than none at all right? :)

OH. Also, newsflash! DAD SOLD MY CAR. So I am currently carless (which explains my holiday situation) right now. Gonna drive mum's [less valuable] car to school. Everyone thinks my dad is gonna get me a car for my birthday. I think NOT. Not in another 2 - 3 years is he gonna get me a new car. Trust me, I've seen the signs. Haha.

Now all I'm hoping for this winter sem is keeping up my no-fail streak. Gonna make myself work my ass off for two subjects within SIX weeks. My uni is crazy but we get this shit all the time so we're used to it. :) Tatas for now!

And I love her so so much. :) Recently me and my sister keep bringing up how time flies so damn fast and how it feels like just last week we brought Shanice back from the hospital. Spent a good two hours there stuffing ourselves silly. Then headed over to Sarawak Club to meet some cousins in hopes of crashing their countdown at the karaoke lounge like last year. But there wasn't any countdown going on there. Or even dancing. Sad. Only some people singing "♪♫Can you paint with all the colours of the wind........" on karaoke. T___T

Then dad wanted to go home....but I didn't want to go home before midnight so he dropped me at Woodlands with my siblings. HAAAA Danced like hell there. Had fun indeed.

Bah. I found something cool today anyways. Have you ever found that Bar Code Reader app on your mobile phone and wondered how it works? I did. Tried it on the bar codes on stuff I bought. Doesn't work. Now try and scan this :)

It's 2am...I can't sleep and I'm sort of in a dilemma... . . . I won't say what about yet though, you will find out soon. For now just to keep my mind preoccupied I shall blog about something really random. My lipbalm "collection". :P

Previously I had horribly dry, chapped, peeling, cracking, anything-else-you-can-think-of-except-herpes lips. Then it so happened that my mum had a brand new Nivea Essential Lip Care lipbalm that she didn't want. So she gave it to me.

It literally did miracles for my lips, no kidding. My lips are hardly dry and chapped anymore! And I used it religiously everyday and night. When it was finished I went to buy another and found one that was even better. Hydro Care. Got that for RM7+.

When that finished, I went to buy it again but it was always sold out. So I got the Cherry one (was the last Nivea lipbalm left wtf). I thought it would just smell like cherry but it was really red when I wanted something colourless. So I went to yet another pharmacy and found the hydro care one but guess how much was it. RM11. I was so shocked the price could shoot up 4Ringgit in just a few months!! Cilaka one!

Then when that finished too, I went on another hunt. At another pharmacy, the last one left was the Soft Rose one. Tried that. Was a very light pink, wasn't as red as the cherry one but it wasn't moisturizing enough. So I went to another pharmacy again, and wth hydro care was sold out there too! Why so in demand ah T___T So I got essential one again. Just got it today(Monday), actually.

So thus goes my wild goose chase for the perfect lipbalm. Haha. Sorry if this bores you, but it was just something I felt like sharing. If you have dry lips, I highly recommend these!! :)

Ps, don't ask me why I still keep the finished ones. I'm not sure, but I guess I just like seeing them all together like that. Lol. And I still use the pink and cherry ones. I apply them over the colourless ones depending on the occasion. Cherry for dinner parties for redder lips, and Soft Rose for daytime use cuz it has a more natural colour. :3

Life as it is :)

Okay, something happened today that kinda shocked me. My puppy somehow escaped from her cage while Cammi was out. I was so scared for her. :C But fortunately, they seem to be getting along fine. Cammi seems very curious about her and keeps chasing her when she runs away.

Oh, I realised that you guys don't know the puppy's name yet. I named her Cassie :)) But no offence to my friend Cassandra, kay? :O Lol. Cuz my dog names all begin with C. Cutie, Chloe (not around anymore), Cody (not around anymore too), Cammi and then there's Cassie! :D

Well, so far things are going well... Cassie seems to submit to Cammi. Like, she would crouch down and stay still when Cammi stands above her. Brother says that things should go smoothly if we give them a few hours of supervised playtime everyday. We gotta let Cassie know that Cammi is more superior! Also, my brother plans to get another rottweiler puppy. A male puppy. Oh boy, indeed. So I'm kinda worried about how rough he's gonna be when he grows up. @@

Long time no see :)

So...I changed my blog skin...again. Is it driving you mad yet? I'm finally having my hols! Been M.I.A for 2 months on this blog and when I come back, I look at the skin and I decided that I didn't like the colours. White has always been my colour, I guess. Found an old header that I made last year so might as well use it since it's Christmas season already. :D

And it's Shanice's first Christmas! (Last Christmas she was in confinement and spent most of her time sleeping so that doesn't count) Her first time seeing Christmas trees. She's coming to Singapore with us this year. I'm kinda worried about how she'll hold up in the plane though. Even if she's not a new born anymore. :S We're going to Universal Studios! Looking forward to that! Speaking of which, I need to do a lot of preparing. Like repainting my nails. Not really contented with the current purple colour :/

Editted cuz I was bored :3 I do not have purple eyes -.- (I wish, though) Also, I am a major noob at make up Should I paint my nails red? Something fitting of the Christmas season ♥ I wanna look the season this year. Which means I need to get a new santa hat too cuz mum threw out mine. It had pigtail braids attached to it!!!!! Grrr.

A rottweiler mix with no-idea-what-breed. No, she is not Cammi's pup. My brother-in-law found her walking into his shop one day covered with ticks so he took her in. Now she's living with me. The day she came to my house in a box she was so quiet and shy. Now she has her own cage and makes a lot of noise. -.- I dare not let her play with Cammi yet though. I'm afraid Cammi might kill her :(

Aih, dad says we might move her to my grandparent's house. I'm worried she might run down the hill and get run over by a car or something. :C Not entirely sure if he's really serious about it though. We'll just have to wait and see....

Yes, I won't deny that I'm a horrible person for not keeping my promise of updating my blog more often. :( My computer is actually working now so I can do my assignments.

I'm in degree naoz. And I realise that it's a lot more stressful than foundation was. In foundation it was all assignments but in degree its assignments AND exercises. Plus I have to deal with my sister and Shanice. -____- I could really die with the way my sister acts like I have to drop whatever I'm doing to bring her out when she's bored. Wtf?

Anyways, I'm learning a lot of cool stuff though. And I hardly have the time to just hang out and do fun stuff with my monkeys. :/ So there's hardly anything to update about. Well, except for stuff happening at home. Like my brother's sudden fascination with making sushi at home ;)

This was on my dad's birthday(11th September), my brother was just trying his luck..

And this was 5 days after (16th September). He decided to make more since he got the hang of it the first time. A happy delicious week that was. xD

And two days ago we had a DIY steamboat dinner at home....

I must show you the prawns. Practically overflowing with eggs. O__o

The only thing missing that night was squid. :( I love squidddd. We didn't buy any cuz we thought we might already have some at home from my brother's latest fishing trip. But it was all gone. *sadface* Aah, I really shouldn't be looking at such pictures this late at night. It's hard going to sleep with an empty stomach. Boo hoo.

So..... I'm sitting here, in the dark, listening to Shanice snoring softly in the cot next to my bed. Improving my typing skills since I cannot see the keyboard at all in the dark. Watching videos of rottweilers giving birth on youtube. And reading up articles on whelping and delivering and caring for pups.

Just in case you didn't know, my rottie, Cammi, is pregnant!! :D My brother brought her to a breeder while she was on heat in late June. I'm excited. I'm nervous. :S It seems okay. The delivering part, I mean. But I'm not sure I can take the gushing blood D:

From today onwards I will be preparing myself mentally for the stressful ordeal. Might consider getting myself a pair of latex gloves just in case. My nails are still square and sharp from my french tips (which I'm thinking of removing already since they're starting to chip real bad). Won't want hurting the darlingss! By the end of it all I might have a situation similar to this:

Food Happens.

This is my new mug that I got from my two monkeys on my birthday(Thank you, loves!). I use it to drink coffee now. :3 It reminds me everyday that shit happens. Anywhere, anyhow, anytime. :P

Speaking of coffee, I was never really a coffee person, to be honest. My mum used to give me these little sachets of instant 3-in-1 coffee to try. I never liked the taste. :( Then recently when I had to rush like mad for a certain assignment and I knew I couldn't afford to even sleep at night. So I found this jar of coffee powder in the kitchen that my mum uses to make coffee for my dad every Sunday morning. And I assumed it was instant coffee because all I had to do was add the hot water. And I drank it so I wouldn't feel sleepy and I actually liked the taste. I asked mum about the brand only to find out that it's not instant coffee. It's grounded coffee nuts.

For a moment I was 0_____0 because I remembered this:

Anyways, I understand now why Sarah blogs about food. Food is awesome. And totally photogenic!!! :D

Aaaand I've been wanting to try eating at Koreana for the longest time ever since I found out about it this year. Yes, I only knew it existed this year. U___U So me and my beloved monkeys decided to head over one morning. We arrived at 10.25am (the sign on their door said it was open for business at 10am) but they weren't open yet. So we sat at the tables outside and waited till 11am for them to finally invite us in. I've never really had korean dishes besides ramyeon and kimbab so I let the two experienced ones order first and then randomly selected a bowl of handmade noodles in soup.

And I got a HUUUGE bowl of it. Kalguksu, they call it. Yummers.

Oh and I got to taste kimchi for the first time. Spicy. *____*

I guess it was okay. I like the clams, greens and bean sprout though! ♥
